A 7-night and 6 full-day Ongoing Teacher Training immersion with Simon Low with focus on Yin and Restorative Yoga
at Samahita Retreat, Koh Samui, Thailand
17 – 24 March 2018

This training intensive focuses on the principles, practice and potential of Yin & Restorative Yoga.

Most days will begin with a led-yang practice, followed by two study sessions and an afternoon asana, anatomy and practical session with teaching methodology. Simon Low and the Yoga Academy have spent many years researching and developing Yin and Restorative yoga. We believe it is an essential balance to the predominantly dynamic and muscular approach to asana practice commonly practiced today.  This kind and nourishing approach is deeply therapeutic and relaxing. It offers a unique and highly effective approach to yoga’s preventative and curative medicine for mind, body, breath, brain and subtle energy.

The teaching and practice of Yin and Restorative Yoga require a higher level of knowledge, understanding, practical skill and precision than often recognised. You will leave this training week well-informed, skilled and nourished, with new and highly effective practical tools for yourself and your students.

All of the sessions over the six days will have inter-linked information and common strategies to harness the teachings. Handouts, visual and audio presentations are included.

Attending this immersion will give you 50 hours of continuing professional development, which can also be collected towards certification at the 500-hour level with The Yoga Academy and Yoga Alliance US.
